David De La Paz, a Hispanic-American Artist: vocalist/guitarist/composer/lyricist/arranger/programmer/producer/recording-mixing engineer/bandleader is originally from Houston, TX and currently lives in West Palm Beach, FL. His creative stylings are prevalent in recordings, concerts and showcases with such notable and diverse artists as: Marc Anthony, Little Joe & La Familia, The Barkays, Neil Ford (formerly with Neil Ford & the Fanatics), Torre Fuerte (Luis Miguel's former band), Marcos Witt, Cademon's Call, Arron & Jeoffrey, Johnny Onderlinde (formerly with Instant Funk), Melvin George II (comedian), etc.
In Houston, TX, David was a finalist for the Sammy Davis Jr. Awards, performed at the Wortham Theater Center, Debra Duncan Talk Show (ABC-Channel 13), Ariel Theater, West Wing Gala (Galleria Hotel), which is where the American Jewish Committee and a host of celebrities (Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Brad Whitford, Jane Kaczmarek, Brent Spiner and Christine Lahti) honored Thomas Schlamme (director/producer of the West Wing TV series). Shortly after David's performance at the West Wing Gala, the president/CEO of the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, spoke with David and asked that he and his band open up for Santana, but because of a cancellation, the president/CEO had David and his band open up for Marc Anthony.
In addition, David performed at Gloria & Emilio Estefan's Bongos Cuban Café (Miami FL), Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago Mansion (West Palm Beach, FL), Dave & Mary Alper JCC Cultural Arts Center (Miami, FL), Vizcaya Museum & Gardens (Miami, FL) Century Village Theaters (Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Tamarac and Plantation, FL), Bluebird Café (Nashville, TN), Whiskey A Go Go (Los Angeles, CA), etc.
